What Is ...?
"What is anti-oxidant?" Or "homocysteine?" Why do I need to know these words? Find out here.
"What is anti-oxidant?"
"What is homocysteine?" "What is glycemic index?" "How do
these things affect my health?" These are among many big words and
questions you will come across on your journey to a new you.
You need to know the
answers to these in order for your journey to be more meaningful and
lasting. A few minutes reading and understanding them will take
you a long way.
I told you from the
beginning that I will hold your hand in your journey so I present you
the answers here. You probably never bothered to find out what all
these big words mean because they sounded so "technical". I've
been there, and I know exactly how you feel. I used to feel that
way too.
I have bought and read so
many books about all these things that I never bothered about.
They all seem so foreign to me at first, but as I continue to read and
further did my own research, all these things begin to start falling
into place.
I begin to have a bigger
picture of what keeps our total well-being, err ... well. I don't
claim to know it all. I am not a doctor, but the knowledge is
sufficient to keep me away from the doctor for a long time now.
I will attempt to expand
on all the big words here, in an as easy-to-understand manner as
possible. I will also throw in some curious questions that you may
come across as you poke around on this site.
Bear with me as I keep
adding the questions here. Acquiring knowledge is a never ending
process. Subscribe to my RSS Feed (see XML/RSS box on the top left
margin of this page) so that you will be notified each time I post a
page. You will need to download an RSS reader ... it's pretty
cool, try it.
So here we go ....
