What is the horse power (hp) of the Alpha juice extractor?

by Sharon
(Malaysia)

I heard that a good juice extractor should be 3 hp and above in order to extract the phytonutrients or enzyme. What is your comment?

Sharon

From Sara:

Hi Sharon, there is no connection between a good juicer and the horsepower. A good juicer is simply the METHOD of extraction. You've probably heard a sales gimmick from the juicer manufacturer whose juicer is 3hp or above.

I believe the 3hp juicer is a centrifugal juicer as that's the capacity needed to spin the juicer at very high speed which then destroys the enzymes and vitamins.

Learn about the different methods of extraction.

The SAFE METHOD of extraction is one that goes on very low RPM, low spinning (below 160 RPM), using a crushing method instead of a blade-cutting method.

Please read more about how a single-gear juicers works.
