What are the best juices for recovery from a cold?

I haven't had any kind of serious illness in over 25 years, but recently got a cold/flu that was very bad. After 3 weeks I am now over the worst but still have a persistent cough (no fever). I could not do my juicing while I was sick because I was too tired and weak, but I would now like to speed my recovery with some daily juicing.
What juices would you suggest for healing the respiratory tract and eliminating any residual congestion? By the way, I am 65 years old and that may be a factor in my rather slow recovery.
Thank you for your advice. I read all your posts and find them very informative.
From Sara:Dear Gail, one of my favorite juices for fixing a cold or a sore throat is this:
Juice half a medium-sized lemon (together with its peel). Throw in an inch of old ginger root. To this, add 2 tablespoon of raw honey or to taste. Must be raw honey (murky ones). Processed honey (clear ones) doesn't work. Add approximately 200 ml of hot or very warm water. Sip it to soothe the throat. Do this 3-4 times throughout the day.
Many people think taking vitamin C for cold and flu is good. It's true, however, without bioflavonoids, you will need a lot more vitamin C for healing. When you juice the lemon peel together, it provides high content of bioflavonoids that help to boost your recovery.
