Veggies clog the KT100 Slow Juicer

KT100 Slow Juicer

Hi Sara, I have a KT100 Slow Juicer for two weeks now. I find that certain vegetables, like spinach, stick to the single auger and clog up.

Your wonderful website is great but doesnt mention this problem. I am using Dr Norman Walker's books as a guide.

H+Kindest regards,
Graham

Sara says:

Thank you for asking, Graham.

Here's a trick you can try on your KT100 Slow Juicer, when juicing leafy vegetables: When inserting the vegetables into the chute, roll them up with the stem as a guide. Insert them in a thick roll instead of allowing the leaves to be "loose". This way, you can ensure that the leaves would not stick to sides/gears; and at the same time it will produce higher juice yield.

Happy juicing!
