Solo Star II Juicer
Juicer Review

Solo Star II Juicer boasts of a second generation 'dual-stage juice extraction' feature, which is an advanced filtering technology. Its auger is slightly longer than those of other single-auger juicers. This is claimed to produce dryer pulp as the pressing action and contact on the produce is longer.

As the name suggests, the 'dual-stage juice extraction' uses a two-step process when extracting juice.

In the first stage, the produce is crushed, and juice extracted before it is reabsorbed into the pulp. In the second stage, the pulp is squeezed again to obtain the most of the juice.

This model does a good job juicing fruits and leafy vegetables with relatively good juice yield. Assembling and dismantling the machine is rather simple. However, cleaning is a bit of a chore with this model.

Another common complaint about this model is that when in use, juice tends to drip from between the juicing chamber and the juicer body. When this happens, not only is it messy, you also lose some precious juice.
