Should you mix other fruit with citrus?

by Michael
(Montreal, Missouri)

We have a juicer and in the book it said that you shouldn't mix anything with a citrus? In some of your receipes you do?

From Sara:

Dear Michael,

I can't think of any reason why we shouldn't mix any other fruits/vegetables with citrus fruits. Orange juice, for example, mixes very well with carrot and apple juice. I also mix juice from other citrus fruits like grapefruits and lemons, with many other juices. They really enhance the taste of the juices.

Moreover, when mixing juices, the vitamins and minerals all put together, cause a powerful synergistic effect in nourishing our body. Try it !

Kind regards,
Sara
