Painful heel spur and joint pains

by Manees
(Malaysia)

Hi Sara, past 3 weeks I and my hubby are on vegetable and fruit juices. We use celery, carrot, bittergourd, apple, watermelon, orange and guava. He could feel some difference after taking the juice but I feel nothing. Can you tell me why?

I am 45 now and lately I am having painful heel spur, joint pains, tennis elbows (both elbows), heavy menses monthly and when I get up in the morning, I feel heavier. My whole body especially my upper back is quite painful. Can you suggest what can I add to the juice to overcome these problems?

And also I and my hubby noticed that our weight increased a bit after started taking juice.

Yegyan (guest author) says:

I would need to learn more about your particular condition and imbalance. One thing I can say is that heel spurs and joints pain are symptoms of excess cortisol and/or adrenal fatigue.

Cortisol lowers your body's pH. To restore your body’s pH, your nervous system will leach calcium out of your bones and cells to rebalance pH. Because the calcium is not being absorbed where it is needed the most (muscle cells and bones), it circulates in the blood and deposits on the surface of bones.

From the examples you have given me, the juices you are making are from foods that are high in sugar, causing your weight gain. Here is an over simplification of what you can do--keep your juice color green and if the food tastes sweet keep it out of the juicer.

These are very general answers to your question. I need more specifics in order to tell what is specifically going on with you.

POP's and our digestive system
by: Anonymous

I have a question concerning the Q&A I have included below about the POP chemicals that are practically non-biodegradable and the endorcrine disruptor chemicals.

If it is so difficult to stop the performance of these chemicals, such as the endocrine disruptor, even after entering our bodies, are the pesticides/chemicals also still alive in our bodies? If so, are they also killing off our good bacteria? Is that part of the problem associated with the digestive problems so many of us are experiencing? So that we need to continually take billions of probiotic cultures now because the pesticides on the food we send through our digestive system each day are alive and killing off the good bacteria? Or do pesticides/chemicals only work directly on the nervous system of a living organism?

JFH: You also focus on toxins and how they contribute to weight gain. Can you give a brief introduction to that?

Yegyan gave a very thorough explanation on how toxins get into your body and how it affects your body metabolism.
