Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

After reading A LOT of the information that is on your page, I think I bought a pretty expensive juicer that's virtually no good. Would you say that I would at least be getting SOME nutrients and vitamins and enzymes using this type of juicer?

By the way, I love all the useful information you have packed on here, too! I feel like I just took a cram course on juicing!

From Sara:

Dear Celina,

Jack Lalanne Power Juicer is a centrifugal juicer. You can do a simple test to see if the juice will oxidize upon extraction.

Juice an apple, leave the glass of juice aside for one minute and check whether the juice oxidizes and separates. See this comparison picture of juices produced using a gear juicer vs a centrifugal juicer.

Oxidized juice is in effect spoiled juice but is not totally bad. Read this other posting about how to make the best of your juicer. You decide.

Kind regards,
Sara Ding
