I'm severely limited with my arms. Which juicer is easiest to use?

JuicePresso CJP-01 Hurom Slow Juicer HU-100 Omega VRT 330

Hi Sara, I have a severe injury that limits me from using any kind of force with my arms. Is there any single or twin-gear juicer that I really don't have to use much strength or force to push the veggies and fruits through?

I've been looking at the Omega J8006 and the Green Power twin-gear. Any idea which one would be the easiest juicer to use, for someone with arthritis or severe weakness? Or a different juicer with the exception of having to use the centrifugal juicers?

Thank you so much!!

Sara says:

Hi Kristy, one of the easiest and most hassle-free juicers I've ever used is the JuicePresso, which is only available in Malaysia.

However, you may opt for the first generation equivalent, available in the USA through this website (please click on the links below):

The Hurom Slow Juicer HU-100 or the Omega VERT VRT330.

Both these are new gear juicer models in the market, using vertical gear concept. You will like the easy-to-use features:
  • Wider feed-chute opening (at 2.25" x 1.25") which means less cutting of the fruits and veggies (saves time and effort!). You cut them lengthwise.

  • Self-cleaning rubber means less cleaning time.

  • Self-feeding features, it just swallows whatever you feed into it due to gravity. You don't even need to use the food pusher (no need to exert your arms!)

  • Easy to wash. Need I say more? ;)

Best of all, Kristy, these vertical gear juicers are NOT centrifugal juicers and they DO preserve the precious enzymes and nutrients.

Please write back and let me know which one you've decided on. ;)

God bless!

Omega VERT VRT330
by: Richard

I have owned the Omega VERT VRT330 for a year and a champion for 11 years.
I did a lot of research before buying the Omega VERT VRT330 It pulls the fruit and vegetables down into its spout. No pushing required when I quarter apples, pears, tomatoes, etc. If food will fall into opening you are good to go. Cleaning is rinsing off parts which come apart easily.
Machine has blender size footprint on counter top. Machine has an automatic stop overload switch if it temporarily stops while crunching a BIG carrot. Simply press the rocker switch down and it reverses itself and frees up the food, then reverse the switch and it continues juicing. We juice daily. I am not a Juicer salesman, just a 70+ guy who likes juice and being physically and mentally active. Good Luck.
