Cancer: How do I juice a beet?
by Melissa
(Coral Springs, FL, USA)
Hello. I am new to the juicing concept and just bought my new juicer. I have been diagnosed with Cancer of unknown primary but 5 tumors were found on my liver.
I have read your information regarding beets. You talk of the beet root, beet leaves and beet itself. I know this may sound silly, but do I put the entire beet with leaves and roots in there?
Thank you,
Melissa
From Sara:Melissa, to juice
beets, you need to skin the beetroot, cut it up and juice. You can include the greens if you want but it is bitter.
However, since you have cancer, I suggest you be careful what juices you consume because some may cause more harm than good. I cannot tell you if beetroot juice will help you or not at whatever stage you're at now (it differs from case to case). In
Gerson Therapy only carrots and green apple juices are allowed and nothing else.
It's good that you start juicing, but I hope you got a
gear juicer. A
centrifugal juicer is not good for your condition.
Other things you will need to totally cut out from your dietary are: oil (fats), meat, salt, sugar and other
harmful foods. These add on to the burden of toxicity in your body and feed the tumors.
I suggest you learn more about detoxifying your liver (your body's main blood filter) which will help you overall. I currently have limited information on this therapy on my site, but you can find more information in the book listed on this page:
