Added ingredients for juicing

by David Buxton
(Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia)

I have not read all your excellent article but wish to add my own experience on juicing.

Every morning, for breakfast I prepare the following juice:

1 carrot,
1 stick of celery,
1 apple,
1 green pepper,
1 tomato,
1 medium beetroot.

Wash, slice and juice.

Liquidizer:
Add juice to liquidiser,
Add 1 clove garlic,
1 pinch of top-quality sea salt,
4 fresh strawberries,
a dash of extra virgin olive oil,
(alternate with a few drops of cod-liver oil)
1 bunch of fresh parsley.

Raw beetroot juice is equivalent to the best drugs for reducing blood pressure - believe me!!!

Parsley, besides its great value also clears your breath of any garlic smell.

My question on this recipe - should I apply a time limit to this daily consumption and introduce other fruits and vegetables?

Sara says:

David, you're doing fine. What a healthy and nutritious recipe you have here! Of course if you alternate with other fruits and vegs you get a variety of vitamins and minerals. Keep it up!
